Description

Creamy spiced pear smoothie with almond milk, coconut yogurt, oats, dates and warming spices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large pear, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tablespoon raw almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Grated nutmeg (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Core and roughly chop the pear.
  2. If using fresh ginger, grate it finely.
  3. Add all ingredients, except for the grated nutmeg, into a blender.
  4. Blend on high until smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a large glass and garnish with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg on top.
  6. Serve and enjoy this cozy autumn drink!
