Creamy white chocolate truffles flavored with orange zest and extract, finished with sanding sugar or extra melted white chocolate.

- 200 grams white chocolate
- 100 grams cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: orange sanding sugar or melted white chocolate for decoration
Instructions
- Chop the white chocolate and melt gently using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring often.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt; mix until smooth and fluffy.
- Allow the melted white chocolate to cool slightly, then stir it into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Chill the truffle mixture for 1 hour or until firm enough to roll.
- Scoop and roll into small balls using your hands or a cookie scoop.
- If desired, dip the truffles in more melted white chocolate or roll them in orange sanding sugar for decoration.
- Chill again for 30 minutes before serving.
